Lennon PBS Special coming November 22

This October, John Lennon would have turned 70. PBS is celebrating the anniversary with a two hour  American Masters special that chronicles John Lennon’s solo career in the last decade of his life. Lennon spent the most of the 1970′s  in New York City with Yoko Ono.

Apparently, the special will include audio tapes from four or five Lennon recording sessions which have not previously been heard before. The special will be broadcast on November 22.
